Camel Safari in Jaisalmer

Day 01: Arriving At Delhi
Upon arriving at Delhi International Airport, our representative will greet you warmly. Then you would be transferred to a hotel. Delhi is the capital of India, and exemplifies appreciating blend of modern and past times. It is also a centrum of country's politics. The day is free for you to relax after the long journey and get prepared for the impending tour. Overnight stay would be at the hotel.

Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing
In the morning post delicious breakfast, begins the full day tour of Delhi. You would be visiting the outlandish Red Fort, divine Jama Masjid which is India's largest mosque, Raj Ghat the cremation site of Father of Nation 'Mahatma Gandhi', stunning Birla Temple, exquisite Bahai Temple, admiring Humayun Tomb and skyscraping Qutab Minar. Afterwards you will also visit the recently reckoned attraction, Akshardham Temple. This temple is flawlessly made up of gorgeously shinning marbles and red sandstones which symbolizes tremendous spirituality and divine peace. It also exhibits Hindu mythology and Indian culture. Overnight stay would be at the hotel.

Day 03: Delhi - Agra
Post breakfast, you would be transferred to the railway station to catch a train to Agra. This amazing city is a home of one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Taj Mahal, which is an ultimate embodiment of love and romance. This structure of great fascination was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaj Mahal in 1630. On reaching Agra, you would be transferred to a hotel. Afterwards, begins the excursion of this colorful city. Firstly, of course you would be visiting Taj Mahal. Next in line is the senescent and magnificent Agra Fort which stands on the shores of river Yamuna and later Itmad-ud-Daula's Tomb, the tomb of Emperor Jehangir's father-in-law. It is amongst the best-adorned and beautiful structures of India. Overnight stay is in Agra.

Day 04: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur
Post delicious breakfast at the hotel, you would be driven to Jaipur. It is the capital city of Rajasthan founded by Raja Jai Singh and is famously known as "Pink City." Jaipur is synonymous to rich culture and dwells some majestic structures. On the way, you would be visiting the deserted and spooky city of Fatehpur Sikri, situated 40 km away from Agra. This mysterious place was established by the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1569, but was abandoned due to water scarcity. Akbar during the construction phase poured his views and experimented with both architecture and art. You are sure to get deeply amazed viewing astounding structures like Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces. After excursion of this city, you would continue driving to Jaipur. On reaching the city, you would be accommodated at a hotel. Overnight stay is in the hotel.

Day 05: Jaipur Sightseeing
This is your first morning in Rajasthan, so wake up soon to witness various splendid hues of the sky. Post breakfast, the city sightseeing tour of Jaipur would commence. First, you would be taken to the marvelous Amber fort, atop an elephant's back. This phenomenal architecture comprises of important buildings like the Diwani-i-am, Kali Temple and Jai Mandir alongside wondrous marble palaces and beautiful gardens which compels you to dive into the history of the place. In the afternoon, you would be visiting some other admiring places like City Palace and museum, Hawa Mahal, also known as 'Palace of winds' and Jantar Mantar which is an Observatory constructed by Sawai Jai Singh. Later, you can explore the local bazaar of Jaipur offering exotic handicrafts at surprising inexpensive rates. Overnight stay is in Jaipur.

Day 06: Jaipur - Jaisalmer
Post lip-smacking breakfast at the hotel, the morning is kept free to explore this fabulous city on your own. Make the most of this time shopping some traditional handicrafts and clothes of Rajasthan. Also don't forget to taste typical Rajasthani food and beverages. The city is sure to amaze you at every corner. In the evening, you would be transferred to the railway station at a given time to board a train for Jaisalmer. Overnight journey would be at the train.

Day 07: Arrive Jaisalmer
Upon arriving in Jaisalmer, you would be taken straight away to the hotel. Jaisalmer introduces you to the hills of fine and sparkling sand dunes. It is the city situated in the heart of the Thar Desert and depicts a stunning golden aura, thus being fondly named as the Golden City of India. Jaisalmer is very colorful and recites glorious past. The city was founded by Rawal Jaisal in 1156 A.D. Its yellow sandstone fort attracts a lot of eyes. After taking some rest, begins the city's sightseeing tour. You would be visiting the majestic Jaisalmer Fort and beautiful and glorious havelis such as Patwon ki haveli and Salim Singh ki haveli. Overnight stay would be at Jaisalmer.

Day 08: Jaisalmer- Amarsagar - Kahla Village - Manpia - Kuldhara
After having the breakfast, begins the much awaited camel safari tour. Don't forget to carry important things like umbrella, water bottles, sunscreen, etc. You would be mounting on "ship of desert" and heading towards Amarsagar, situated 6 km away from Jaisalmer. Amarsagar is a beautiful and refreshing small town. From here, you would precede to Kahla village which is sited at a distance of 8 km. Enjoy traditional food in the serene ambience of this village and relax for an hour or two. Afterwards mount on the camel for you would resume your journey to reach Manpia, located 4 km from Kahla. Take a glimpse of rural life in deserts here. Next, you would head towards the last destination of the day, Kuldhara which is again 4 km away. On reaching, enjoy a delicious dinner followed by overnight stay.

Day 09: Kuldhara - Padiyar - Waziron Ki Dhani - Hanswa
This morning get mesmerized watching the ravishing rising sun in deserts. After breakfast, mount on your tour's best companion, camel, for reaching the next destination is Padiyari which is 7 km away. En route, you would surely get enthralled by the glittering glory of desert sand. Next you would be heading towards another majestic place called Waziron Ki Dhani, situated 8 kms away. Upon reaching, sit, relax and enjoy luscious lunch. The journey becomes more captivating and rejoicing with the next stoppage point which is an open desert, located just 5 km away. Step off the camel and enjoy to the fullest, running, sitting, playing, making countless foot prints, clicking lots of snaps, capturing the scenic beauty of the place and so on. After enjoying great time here, ride the camel to reach the retiring destination of the day Hanswa, located 5 km away.

Day 10: Hanswa - Gorera - Temderai - Pithodai - Bhoo
The chilling night of desert is gone with the arrival of scorching sun. Post breakfast, begins the camel ride to Gorera, situated at a distance of 7 km. Then from Gorera, you embark on the camel once again to cover a journey of 8 km to reach Temderai. Here you halt for lunch. Interact with villagers and find out some really interesting stories and facts about deserts. Afterwards, the camel safari continues as you reach Pithodai, located 6 km away. Later from here, you move towards the last destination of the day Bhoo covering a distance of 6 km. Dinner is organized here along with an overnight stay.

Day 11: Bhoo - Soron Ki Dhani - Dhanwa - Talai - Gali - Jaisalmer
After having mouth-watering breakfast, starts the last day of camel safari. Climb on the humpy camel and move towards Soron Ki Dhani, located 5 km away. From here you would be taken to Dhanwa which is 8 km away. The daunting yet peaceful life of people here is sure to attract you. Afterwards, the ride continues as you reach Talai, situated at 5 km. You would be halting here for a delicious traditional lunch. Post some rest, embark on the camel once again as it takes you back to Jaisalmer, en route Gali which is just 1 km away. Upon reaching Jaisalmer, the adventurous and amazing camel safari terminates. In the following afternoon, you would be transferred to the railway station from where you board the train to Delhi. Overnight is on the train.

Day 12: Arrive Delhi
On arriving Delhi, we transfer to a good hotel. The remaining time of the day is free. You can utilize this time exploring other unseen sights of the city. You can shop from the famous markets of Delhi or eat at famous places. If you are quite tired after the camel ride, just jump on your hotel's cozy bed and enjoy a sound sleep. You can also check out the rocking night life of the city or watch any good Bollywood movie if it interests you. Overnight stay would be at the hotel.

Day 13: Delhi - Haridwar - Rishikesh
Next morning, you would board the train to Haridwar. On reaching Haridwar, our representative will greet you and thereafter you would be driven to Rishikesh and checked-in to an ashram. Rishikesh is famously known as the "yoga capital of India." The place is a combination of devotion, yoga, meditation and adventure. Therefore, it houses several centers of philosophical studies, yoga and meditation along with magnificent temples which makes it famous internationally. Rishikesh is surrounded by alluring greens and fascinating mountains. The constant flow of River Ganga adds to the divine beauty of this holy land. Overnight stay is in the ashram.

Day 14: Rishikesh
Day fourteen is set to soothe all your senses. This day you typically follow the ashram routine. Commence the day pretty early in the morning with meditation classes which will give you inner satisfaction and peace. This will be followed by blissful yoga classes. Next, enjoy some healthy and delicious breakfast. Relax till lunch, spending some quality time admiring the scenic beauty and feel immensely refreshed. Post lunch, attend lecture organized by the ashram which will be very informative and interesting followed by a tea break. Again indulge in the ultimate yoga & meditation and gain inner peace. Later, have mouthwatering dinner. In the evening, participate in the grand Ganga Aarti. Overnight stay would be at the ashram.

Day 15: Rishikesh - Delhi
This is the last day of this tour and you begin it exactly like the previous one. Follow similar routine of day fourteen. With these super divine two days of yoga and meditation, you completely shed away all your stress and tiredness. You feel ultimately rejuvenated. In the evening, you are driven to railway station from where you board the train for Delhi. As soon as you reach Delhi, our representatives would take you to the Delhi Airport, from where you can board the flight for your onward destination.
