A visit to the Taj Mahal, one of the 'Seven Wonders of the World' and surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created, will surely leave you spell bound. The Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan, who was deeply in love with Mumtaz Mahal, built the Taj Mahal in memory of his beloved wife. Taj Mahal is the epitome of Mughal art and one of the most famous buildings in the world. The building stands majestically on the banks of River Yamuna. Raised upon a marble platform, and framed on either side by intricately carved stately minarets, every portion of the structure is made of white marble, precious metals, and costly stones. After witnessing the magnificent and unforgettable beauty of Taj Mahal, you would proceed further towards other monuments such as the Red Fort, Sikandara and Itmad-ud-Daulah tomb. Later in the afternoon you will be driven to Jaipur. On the way you will be visiting Fatehpur Sikri, which was once the capital of the Mughal Empire. Upon arrival at Jaipur you will be transferred to hotel. Overnight stay will be in hotel at Jaipur.

Day 03: Jaipur - Delhi
Jaipur, also known as the Pink City, is the capital of Rajasthan. The city has been so named because of the color of the stone used exclusively in the walled city. The city is marked with broad avenues and spacious gardens. Also, the city presents an overwhelming and awe-inspiring history and culture to bask in. After breakfast you will visit the majestic Amber Fort (on elephant back). Later you will visit the City Palace, the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), Birla Temple, the Jantar Mantar (Astronomical Observatory) and the local bazaar. Jaipur is best represented by the City Palace complex, which brings together all that was exceptional in Rajput and Mughal architecture. The Jantar Mantar (Observatory) houses the huge instruments that were used to study the movement of constellations and stars in the sky. Yet, another excellent example of Rajputana architectural beauty is the Hawa Mahal. Built in 1799, by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, the five storied stunning semi-octagonal monument has 152 windows with over-hanging latticed balconies. In the evening you will be driven back to Delhi.
