Destinations Covered: Delhi - Leh - Lamayuru - Alchi - Phyang - Tigar - Delhi
Duration: 12 Nights/13 Days

Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
Our representative shall pick you up from the airport and help you check-in to a hotel. Thereafter, you will be taken for the city sightseeing. In the city excursion, you will be visiting the various tourist spots such the Red Fort, Qutab Minar, Safdarjung Tomb, Humayun Tomb, Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid, India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhawan. Later in the evening, you will return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02: Delhi - Leh
Early in the morning, you will catch a flight for your next destination Leh. Upon your arrival, our representative will escort you to the hotel. For this day, there are no plans, so that you can take some rest and get acquainted with the altitude of the place. You are free to indulge yourself in the glorious beauty of the place. In the evening, you can spellbind yourself by watching the sundown in the Ladakh ranges. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 03: Leh
In the morning, after having breakfast, you will be taken for the Leh sightseeing. You will be visiting numerous monasteries, each strikingly spectacular in its own right. Firstly you will visit the Shey Monastery, which is located on a hillock in Shey. Built in 1655, by the king of Ladakh, Deldan Namgyal, it houses the largest Buddha statue in Asia made of copper. This would be followed by a visit to Thiksay Monastery, which is 500 years old. It contains a three-storey high statue of Maitreya, the future Buddha. Later you will visit the Hemis monastery, the largest and one of the most important monasteries in Ladakh. It was built by Sengge Namgyal in the year 1672. In the evening, you will return to your hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 04: Leh
On the fifth morning, after having breakfast, you will be driven 5 km towards Oracle. Thereafter, you will be driven for 22 km to Matho Monastery (Gompa), built in the first half of the 16th century. Later, you will move further towards Stok Palace or Stok Monastery which is about 15 km away from Matho. It was built by the Lama Lhawang Lotus in the 14th century. The Palace museum has on display fabulous period costume and jewellery of the royalty. The royal family still continues to live there. In the evening, you will return to Leh. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 05: Leh - Lamayuru - Alchi
In the morning, you will be driven 120 km to Lamayuru monastery. It is located at Kargil district in western Ladakh. It is built by Naropa in the 11th century. Besides your local excursion, you can pleasure yourself with the extravagant landscape of Lamayuru village. Later in the afternoon, you will be driven back for 50 km to Alchi from Lamayuru. It is well-known for its glorious and well-preserved 11th century painting which reflects the authentic Indian culture & style. Upon your arrival, you will be checked-in at the hotel. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 06: Alchi - Leh
In the morning, you will move further towards your next destination Rizong Monastery (Yuma Changchubling). After one and half km walk, you will reach the completely isolated monastery in the mid of the hills. It was established in 1831 by Lama Tsultim Nima. It is also known as the Paradise for Meditation. Later you will be driven back to Leh. En route you will be visiting the Likir (The Naga - Encircled) monastery which stands majestically on the hill with the statue of Maitreya (future Buddha) 23 m high beside it. It was established in 1065 by Lama Duwang Chosje. As soon as you reach Leh, our representative will escort you to the hotel. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 07: Leh - Phyang - Lehz
In the morning, you will be taken for the visit of renowned monastery. You will be driven 19 km towards Phyang monastery. Built in the 16th century, this monastery belongs to Red Hat Sect of Buddhism. It houses many statues, murals, old manuscripts and some old weapons. Later, you will be driven back to Spituk (exemplary) monastery. It was established by Od-de, the elder brother of Lha Lama Changchub Od in the 11th century. It belongs to the Yellow hat Sect of Buddhism. In the evening, you will return to Leh. Thereafter, you will enjoy your walk within the village and explore the Ladakhi kitchen and delightful recipes. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 08: Leh - Tiger
On the eighth day morning, you will be driven further towards your next destination the Nubra valley. It will take you to Khardongla pass (5470 m), the highest motor-able road in India. From there, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Karakoram Range. While driving down to the Nubra valley, you will be crossing the Shyok River. On its bank the villages of Sumur, Kyagar, also known as Tiger are situated. In the evening, you will walk towards Samstanling monastery. It is a big complex of seven temples. Here you can explore the statue of future Buddha and learn about the culture followed in the valley. Overnight stay will be at the camp in Tiger.

Day 09: Tiger
In the morning, you will be driven 50 km towards Diskit monastery. Also known as Deskit Gompa, it was founded by Changzem Tserab Zangpo in the 14th century and belongs to the yellow hat sect of the Tibetan Buddhism. Thereafter, you will drive further to the Hundur monastery, which is 5 km away. It has a huge impressive statue of Maitreya, the future Buddha. Here you will see the double hump camel. In the evening, you will be taken to visit the hot spring of Panamik village. Overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 10: Tiger - Leh
In the morning, you will move back towards Leh through Khardongla pass. En route you are free to mesmerize yourself in the beauty of the immense valley, gigantic mountains and the Shyok river stream between the mountains. As soon as you reach there, our representative will escort you to the hotel. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 11: Leh
On the eleventh morning, after having breakfast, as there are no activities scheduled, you are free to enjoy the leisure time on your own. You can explore the nearby area or can go for shopping. In the evening, you will witness the rich traditional cultural show, which is presented by the local community people. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 12: Leh - Delhi
This day morning, you will check-out from the hotel and move further towards your last trip spot. Our representative will escort you to the airport from where you will catch a flight for Delhi. Upon your arrival, you will check-in at the hotel. As no activates are planned for the day, you are free to enjoy the remaining day on your own. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 13: Departure from Delhi
In the morning, you will be transferred to the international airport by our representative. With the fabulous memories of your rich Ladakh tour, you will catch a flight for your onward destination.
