Sikh Gurudwara Pilgrimage Tour

Day 01: Arrival at Mumbai
Upon your arrival at international airport, you will be traditionally welcomed by our representatives who would later transfer you to the hotel for check-in. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 02: Mumbai - Nanded
To begin with, you would be exploring the city of Mumbai. In the morning, after breakfast, you would be taken on a cruise to explore the famous Elephanta Caves. Made out of a solid rock, the Elephanta Caves date back to 600 AD. The cave complex is a collection of shrines, courtyards, inner cells, grand halls and porticos arranged in the splendid symmetry of Indian rock-cut architecture, and filled with exquisite stone sculptures of Hindu Gods and Goddesses represented in many reincarnations. Later you would be exploring other magnificent attractions such as Gateway of India, Hanging Gardens, Aquarium and the Marine Drive. Later in the evening you will check out from your hotel and move towards railway station; from there you will catch a train for Nanded. Overnight will be on the train.

Day 03: Nanded - Hazoor Sahib
After reaching Nanded, you will move further towards Hazoor Sahib in Maharashtra. This is a place where Guru Gobind Singh Ji attained eternity. It is one of the five Akal Takhats (religious places) of the Sikh religion. After reaching there, the rest of the day will be free. You can indulge yourself in the religious practices during this time.

Day 04: Hazoor Sahib
Day four would present you with an amazing opportunity to engage yourself in the spiritual spirit of the place. While staying in Hazoor Sahib, you can watch and participate in the kirtan (prayer ceremony) followed by aarti (chanting) sung with utmost devotion and fervors.

Day 05: Hazoor Sahib - Nanak Jhira Gurudwara - Hazoor Sahib
In the morning, after morning prayers, you will move further for a visit of picturesque and historical Gurudwara Nanak Jhira Saheb. Built in the year 1948, it is dedicated to Guru Nanak Devji. It is located in Bidar, Karnataka. Overnight stay will be in Gurudwara Nanak Jhira Saheb. Next morning, after morning prayers, you will start your return journey to Hazoor Sahib. After returning, in the evening, you can participate in a kirtan and aarti. Overnight stay will be at Hazoor Sahib.

Day 07: Hazoor Sahib - Aurangabad - Delhi
On the seventh day, after morning prayers, you will move further towards your next destination, Delhi via Aurangabad. Aurangabad is the nearest aerodrome. As such, upon your arrival at Aurangabad, our representative will escort you till airport from where you can catch a flight for your next destination Delhi. Our representative will receive you and help you check-in at the hotel. Dinner & overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 08: Delhi - Haridwar - Srinagar
Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will move towards the railway station to board the Shatabadi Express train for Haridwar. Upon your arrival you will proceed towards your next destination point Srinagar. As soon as you reach there, our representative will escort you to the hotel. Since there is nothing planned for the day, you can either spend the evening relaxing and rejuvenating yourself or explore the scenic beauty of the beautiful valley. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Srinagar.

Day 09: Srinagar - Gobind Ghat - Gobind Dham
In the morning, after having breakfast, you will check-out from your hotel and move further towards Gurudwara Gobind Ghat, a place from where the spiritual trip in the deep valley begins. From thence, you would be trekking towards Gobind Dham. The Gurudwara at Gobind Dham is placed strategically at a point where most pilgrims are too tired to go much further for the day. Upon reaching the Gurudwara at Gobind Dham, you would get a strong impression that the Gurudwara at Gobind Ghat has been specifically created to take care of the pilgrims, who are on the journey towards Gobind Dham. Upon your arrival at Gobind Dham, you will be checking-in to the Gurudwara Sarai (guesthouse) for your overnight night.

Day 10: Gobind Dham - Hemkunt Sahib - Gobind Dham
This day, in the morning, after the morning prayers at Gurudwara Gobind Dham and breakfast, you will move further for a trek towards Hemkunt Sahib. On the towering snow-capped mountains, beside a lake of pristine blue water, the Sikh shrine of Sri Hemkunt Sahib seems as a place with almost unbelievable beauty and peace. Seven peaks - known as the Sapt Sring surround the shrine, looming over lush green pastures. In this valley, you will discover mythical yellow-green flower known as the Brahma Kamal, the Lotus of the Gods. This rare flower is available in this spiritual valley only. The tenth and penultimate guru of the Sikhs, Guru Gobind Singh, meditated for years in these mountains, finally leaving his earthly form and uniting with the Almighty. The Lotus shaped Gurudwara Hemkunt Sahib, at a height of over 4,000 metres, is a memorial to Guru Gobind Singh and a reminder of the saint's mission. This place is famous as the Tapo-asthan of Guru Gobind Singh and reflects the picturesque beauty of heaven of the earth. After reaching there, full day will be free for you to spend in this holy place Hemkunt Sahib. Later in the afternoon, you will be trekking back to Gurudwara Gobind Dham. Overnight stay will be at Gurudwara Sarai.

Day 11: Gobind Dham
The eleventh day is kept for meeting the spiritual desires. Full day you will be in Gurudwara Gobind Dham. You can participate in the prayers, holy chants and engage yourself in the divinity of the place. Your overnight stay will be at the Gurudwara Sarai.

Day 12: Gobind Dham - Gobind Ghat - Haridwar
Early in the morning, after morning prayers & breakfast, you will proceed towards Haridwar. Upon your arrival, our representative will escort you to the hotel. Later in the evening, you are free to explore the spiritual places in the holy city of Haridwar. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 13: Haridwar - Fatehgarh Sahib - Ludhiana
Early in the morning, after having breakfast, you will move further towards your next holy destination Ludhiana. En route, you will stop at Sirhind. Standing amidst the ruins of beautiful mosques and tombs, Sirhind was an important city during the Mughal period. Later you will visit Fatehgarh Sahib Gurudwara which is one of the remarkable spots where Guru Gobind Singh's young sons were bricked up alive. Thereafter, you continue your journey towards Ludhiana. As soon as you reach there, our representatives would help you check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 14: Ludhiana - Sultanpur Lodhi - Gobindwal Sahib - Gurudwara Tarn Taran - Amritsar
On the fourteen day morning, after breakfast you will be driven towards Amritsar. En route you will be visiting Sultanpur Lodhi where Guru Nanak, the founder of the Sikh faith, spent 14 years of his life. It is situated in the Kapurthala district of Punjab. Thereafter, proceed towards Gobindwal Sahib or Darbar Sahib Baoli Sahib. The deep Baoli (step-well) in the Gurudwara has 84 steps. The faithful devotee believe that if you recite Jap Ji Sahib, the divine composition of the first Prophet of Sikhism, Guru Nanak Devji at each step after a bath in the well, you live out the cycle of 84,000 lives (representing the species created by God) and attain moksha (liberation of the soul). This would be followed by a visit to Tarn Taran. Gurudwara Tarn Taran Sahib is situated at a distance of 22 km south-east of Amritsar city. It was built by Guru Arjun Dev, in the Mughal style, in the memory of Guru Ram Das. Its dome is completely covered in copper gilt. Later you will move towards Amritsar. Upon your arrival you will check-in to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 15: Amritsar
Fifteen day morning starts with a visit to the Golden Temple, built in the year 1601. The first stone was laid by a Muslim saint at the invitation of Guru Arjun Devji. Continue with the visit of Akal Takht - adjacent to Golden Temple which is also the repository of the various weapons used by the Gurus. Thereafter, you would continue with your city sightseeing with a visit to the historically famous 'Jalianwala Bagh'. This was the place where on April 13, 1919 the British Indian army began shooting at an unarmed gathering of innocent men, women and children without warning. The evening is free for you to explore the local markets and indulge in the other attractions of the city. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 16: Amritsar - Machhiawara - Anandpur Sahib
Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will depart for a visit to Gurudwara Machhiwara - a place with the beautiful garden where Guru Gobind Singh had a sip of water and a spell of brief sleep. Thereafter, you will continue your trip towards Anandpur Sahib. It was here at Anandpur (the city of bliss) that Guru Gobind Singhji administered Amrit (holy water) to the first batch of 5 Sikhs. Anandpur Sahib is a picturesque village, housing a 17th century fortress. It is also one of the holiest Sikh shrines. Later in the evening, you will be visiting Kiratpur Sahib, located on the banks of the Sutlej River, famously known as sacred place for the Sikhs. Overnight stay will be at Anandpur Sahib.

Day 17: Anandpur Sahib - Jalandhar - Delhi
The seventeenth day will be a last day of your tour. Early in the morning, after morning prayers at Gurudwara Anandpur Sahib, you will be leaving towards Jalandhar. From Jalandhar, you would board a train for Delhi. Overnight would be at a hotel in Delhi.

Day 18: Delhi
In the morning, our representative will escort you at international airport, from where you will catch a flight for your onward destination.
