manufacturing of Chyawanprash, therefore the composition differs from
one brand to another. The herbs that are brought to use varies from 25
to 80 in number, however, one ingredient that remains unchanged is Amla.
Infact, it is one of the prime herbs used for preparing Chyavanprash.
Other vital ingredients consist of cinnamon, honey, asparagus, dried
catkins, ghee, dehydrated sugar cane, turmeric and ashwagandha. Beet
root is quite often used in the preparation of Chyavanprash, which is
not because it offers specific health benefits, but due to the fact that
